The policy nobody reads, written so you actually could. What we collect, what we deliberately don't, and how we protect it.

The plain-English version: we collect only what we need to quote and build your roof, we don't sell your information to anyone, and we don't buy lead lists. Our Build Your Roof tool runs entirely in your browser — you can see your price without giving us your name, email, or phone number at all. If you ever send us a photo of your home (for example, for color mockups after reserving an install), we use it only to prepare your mockups and your estimate. The long version follows.

Privacy Policy

One & Done Metal Roofing, a brand of Metal Michigan LLC ("One & Done," "we," "us"), is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who visits oneanddonemetalroofing.com (the "Site") or does business with us. Information collected through the Site is used only in the manner and for the purposes described in this policy.

Your consent

By accessing or using the Site, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of information as described in this policy. If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above — we will never quietly expand what we collect.

Information we collect

  • What you send us on purpose. When you request a quote through our contact form, call, or email us, we collect what you provide: your name, phone number, email address, home address, and the details of your roof project.
  • What your browser sends automatically. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider logs basic technical information: IP address, browser type, device characteristics, referring page, and pages visited. We use this in aggregate to keep the Site working and understand how people use it.
  • What we deliberately do NOT collect. The Build Your Roof tool runs entirely in your browser — you can see your price without entering any contact information, and nothing is sent to us unless you choose to submit the estimate form. A home photo is collected only if you choose to send one (for example, for color mockups after reserving an install), and it's used only to prepare your mockups and estimate — never published or shared. We do not collect payment card details through the Site. We do not buy third-party lead lists or append data about you from data brokers.

How we use your information

  • To prepare, verify, and deliver your roofing estimate and, if you hire us, to schedule and complete your project.
  • To respond when you contact us.
  • To keep the Site secure and functioning.

We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not enroll you in marketing lists you didn't ask for. If we ever offer an optional newsletter, it will be opt-in only, with a working unsubscribe link.

What we share — and what we never share

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who make the Site work — our website host and form-processing provider, which receive form submissions in order to deliver them to us.
  • Our own production team — the people measuring, building, and installing your roof.
  • Legal requirements — if a valid legal process compels disclosure, we comply with the law.

Calls, texting & SMS messaging terms

When you give us your phone number — through the estimate form, by calling, or by texting us first — you agree that we may call or text you at that number about your inquiry and project. SMS messages may include appointment and scheduling confirmations, job status updates, material and delivery notifications, your estimate, and replies to questions you ask us. That's it. Some specifics, in plain English:

  • It's about your roof, not marketing. We don't robocall, we don't cold-call, and we don't enroll your number in promotional text blasts. If we ever offer optional marketing texts, they will be separately opt-in.
  • Consent isn't a condition of doing business. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services — just tell us you prefer calls or email.
  • Opting out is one word. Text STOP at any time — you'll receive a confirmation and no further messages. Text START to opt back in. For assistance, text HELP, call us at (517) 291-8049, or just tell us — a person answers either way.
  • Message frequency may vary with where your project is (an active install week is chattier than a quote request), and standard message & data rates from your carrier may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates. Your phone number and text messaging opt-in status are never sold, rented, or shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing purposes. Period.

Cookies, analytics & advertising pixels

We'll tell you exactly what's running here, because most sites won't:

  • Analytics — we measure visits and which pages actually help people, so we can improve the Site.
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel — since we advertise on Facebook and Instagram, this tells us whether our ads lead to real estimate requests (so we stop running ads that don't), and lets us show our ads to people who already visited the Site instead of strangers. It sends Meta standard web-visit signals — pages viewed, an estimate request happening — never the contents of your estimate, your address, or your price.

What we still don't do: sell your data, buy lead lists, or use data brokers. You can block cookies and trackers in your browser (or an ad blocker) and the Site — including the Build Your Roof tool — works fine. You can also opt out of Meta's ad targeting in your Facebook ad preferences.

Job photos

We photograph our completed work. If your project's photos would appear in our gallery or marketing with anything identifying (your address, your face, distinctive features of your property), we ask you first — it's your home.

Your choices

  • Ask us what information we hold about you — we'll tell you.
  • Ask us to correct or delete your information — we will, unless we're legally required to keep it (e.g., records of a contracted job, warranty registration).
  • Michigan residents and visitors from states with consumer-privacy statutes may have additional rights under applicable law; contact us and we'll honor them.

Security

  • Encryption in transit. The Site is served exclusively over HTTPS — everything you send us is encrypted between your browser and our host.
  • No card numbers on our servers. We do not accept or store payment card information through the Site. If online payments are offered in the future, they will be handled by a dedicated PCI-compliant payment processor, and card details will go to them — never to us.
  • Data minimization. The less we collect, the less can go wrong. That's why the pricing tools work without contact information and why our forms ask only for what a quote actually needs.
  • Access control. Customer information is accessible only to the One & Done team members who need it to do your job.
  • If something goes wrong. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you promptly and plainly — the same way we communicate everything else.
